So... remember that tablet I was asking advice about? I finally upgraded to Wacom Intuos Touch (CTH680) and things finally seemed to make sense in my life again. For a few blissful months.
Then the honeymoon ended unexpectedly about a week and a half ago. I was futzing with Photoshop when suddenly the program froze and I had to force quit. I thought the worst of it would be some unsaved progress.
I was wrong.
When I opened up Photoshop, my tablet went crazy. Like &%$#@!& insane. Lines started appearing out of nowhere, the pen didn't go where I directed it, the sun stopped shining, dogs and cats living together... It was terrible.
Still in denial, I blamed the stylus and ordered a new one. When he saw how distraught I was, my husband ordered one also (he didn't check to see if I ordered one first) but when the new styluses (styli?) arrived, my fears were confirmed. I was SOL.
So now I have 3 styluses for a broken tablet and a broken heart. I still don't know what went wrong, but I'm fairly sure I'll have to pay a little extra for quality next time.
