DAI: The Dread Wolf

Ah, Solas. It was only a matter of time until he found his way into my gallery/heart. Love him.  I also love how some artists have taken his look from his concept art and attributed it to his younger persona, so I had to jump right on that bandwagon (Plus I needed practice drawing dreadlocks for another thing I'm working on) I kind of improvised with the outfit, taking bits from the concept art, Abelas' armor, Dalish armor, a few ideas of my own... and dumping them all together into armor casserole. And then I kind of gave up trying to make a respectable background so I slapped a leaf on it! Ta-da!

Leaf in the foreground: Courtesy of 's handy ... Generally I try to take my own stock pictures, but green leaves are hard to find in February in New England...
